Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to use this site and reach us easily.

Document: Accessibility statement for waterheaterrepairnewarkde.us, operated by Newark Heater Pros. Last reviewed November 8, 2026.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines from the World Wide Web Consortium explain how to make web content easier to use for people with disabilities, and they are the standard most often used under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

What we have built in

  • A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page
  • One main heading per page and headings in order
  • Text and buttons with color contrast of at least 4.5 to 1
  • Visible focus outlines for keyboard users
  • A menu that opens and closes with the keyboard and closes with the Escape key
  • Alt text on images and labels on every form field
  • Pages that resize to phone screens without sideways scrolling
  • A map that loads only when you choose to open it
  • Phone numbers as tap-to-call links on every page

Known limits

The optional map comes from Google Maps, which we do not control. Linked outside sites, such as government and utility pages, have their own accessibility levels.
